Twenty years in design agencies will teach you a lot. But it took one tiny human to teach me what I actually wanted to make.
InkyBearCo. started in the corner of a farm, late at night, while our first born slept. Just me, some scribbles, and zero clients to answer to. No briefs. No restraints. Just drawing things I actually loved for a space that actually mattered.
Since then we've lived in camper vans, tiny townhouses, and now the Sunshine Coast - and InkyBearCo. has come along for all of it. My two cubs have grown up watching characters come to life on paper before they ever made it to a wall. They've named them, argued about them, and occasionally tried to improve them with their own additions.
Every print starts as a hand-drawn sketch. Every order is printed and packed by me. That's not a limitation - it's the whole point.
